Ezekiel 3:5

²“Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and preach against it, for their wickedness has come up before me.”

¹⁹You will no longer see the fierce people, a people of a deep speech that you can’t comprehend, with a strange language that you can’t understand.

²“Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and preach to it the message that I give you.”

³So Jonah arose, and went to Nineveh, according to the LORD’s word. Now Nineveh was an exceedingly great city, three days’ journey across. ⁴Jonah began to enter into the city a day’s journey, and he cried out, and said, “In forty days, Nineveh will be overthrown!”

⁶not to many peoples of a strange speech and of a hard language, whose words you can’t understand. Surely, if I sent you to them, they would listen to you.

¹⁷delivering you from the people and from the Gentiles, to whom I send you, ¹⁸to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’

¹¹But he will speak to this nation with stammering lips and in another language,

⁵He appointed it in Joseph for a covenant, when he went out over the land of Egypt, I heard a language that I didn’t know.
