Ezekiel 26:3

⁴²The sea has come up on Babylon. She is covered with the multitude of its waves.

³⁰They will roar against them in that day like the roaring of the sea. If one looks to the land, behold, darkness and distress. The light is darkened in its clouds.

¹¹Now many nations have assembled against you, that say, “Let her be defiled, and let our eye gloat over Zion.”

³²In their wailing they will take up a lamentation for you, and lament over you, saying, ‘Who is there like Tyre, like her who is brought to silence in the middle of the sea?’ ³³When your wares came from the seas, you filled many peoples. You enriched the kings of the earth with the multitude of your riches and of your merchandise. ³⁴In the time that you were broken by the seas, in the depths of the waters, your merchandise and all your company fell within you.

²⁵For he commands, and raises the stormy wind, which lifts up its waves.

³Tell the land of Israel, ‘The LORD says: “Behold, I am against you, and will draw my sword out of its sheath, and will cut off from you the righteous and the wicked.

⁴²They take up bow and spear. They are cruel, and have no mercy. Their voice roars like the sea. They ride on horses, everyone set in array, as a man to the battle, against you, daughter of Babylon.

³¹“Behold, I am against you, you proud one,” says the Lord, GOD of Armies; “for your day has come, the time that I will visit you.

³The floods have lifted up, LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice. The floods lift up their waves. ⁴Above the voices of many waters, the mighty breakers of the sea, the LORD on high is mighty.

²³They take hold of bow and spear. They are cruel, and have no mercy. Their voice roars like the sea, and they ride on horses, everyone set in array, as a man to the battle, against you, daughter of Zion.”
