Ezekiel 19:9

⁶Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up against him, and bound him in fetters to carry him to Babylon.

²“Son of man, set your face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy to them,

¹You, son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel, and say, “You mountains of Israel, hear the LORD’s word.

³⁰Therefore the LORD says concerning Jehoiakim king of Judah: “He will have no one to sit on David’s throne. His dead body will be cast out in the day to the heat, and in the night to the frost. ³¹I will punish him, his offspring, and his servants for their iniquity. I will bring on them, on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and on the men of Judah, all the evil that I have pronounced against them, but they didn’t listen.”’”

¹⁵He carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon, with the king’s mother, the king’s wives, his officers, and the chief men of the land. He carried them into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon.

¹⁸Therefore the LORD says concerning Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah: “They won’t lament for him, saying, ‘Ah my brother!’ or, ‘Ah sister!’ They won’t lament for him, saying ‘Ah lord!’ or, ‘Ah his glory!’ ¹⁹He will be buried with the burial of a donkey, drawn and cast out beyond the gates of Jerusalem.”

⁷He knew their palaces, and laid waste their cities. The land was desolate with its fullness, because of the noise of his roaring.
