Exodus 29:4

¹²“You shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the Tent of Meeting, and shall wash them with water.

²²let’s draw near with a true heart in fullness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and having our body washed with pure water,

¹¹but it shall be, when evening comes, he shall bathe himself in water. When the sun is down, he shall come within the camp.

¹⁸“You shall also make a basin of bronze, and its base of bronze, in which to wash. You shall put it between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and you shall put water in it. ¹⁹Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet in it. ²⁰When they go into the Tent of Meeting, they shall wash with water, that they don’t die; or when they come near to the altar to minister, to burn an offering made by fire to the LORD. ²¹So they shall wash their hands and their feet, that they not die. This shall be a statute forever to them, even to him and to his descendants throughout their generations.”

²⁸He put up the screen of the door to the tabernacle.

³⁶“You shall make a screen for the door of the Tent, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, the work of the embroiderer.

⁸“He who is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and bathe himself in water; and he shall be clean. After that he shall come into the camp, but shall dwell outside his tent seven days.

⁵and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us, and washed us from our sins by his blood— ⁶and he made us to be a Kingdom, prieststo his God and Father—to him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

³and assemble all the congregation at the door of the Tent of Meeting.”

⁴Moses did as the LORD commanded him; and the congregation was assembled at the door of the Tent of Meeting. ⁵Moses said to the congregation, “This is the thing which the LORD has commanded to be done.” ⁶Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water.

²⁶that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word,
