Exodus 25:10

⁴having a golden altar of incense and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which was a golden pot holding the manna, Aaron’s rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant;

¹Bezalel made the ark of acacia wood. Its length was two and a half cubits,^[+] and its width a cubit and a half, and a cubit and a half its height. ²He overlaid it with pure gold inside and outside, and made a molding of gold for it around it. ³He cast four rings of gold for it in its four feet—two rings on its one side, and two rings on its other side.

¹At that time the LORD said to me, “Cut two stone tablets like the first, and come up to me onto the mountain, and make an ark of wood. ²I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets which you broke, and you shall put them in the ark.” ³So I made an ark of acacia wood, and cut two stone tablets like the first, and went up onto the mountain, having the two tablets in my hand.

¹⁹God’s temple that is in heaven was opened, and the ark of the Lord’s covenant was seen in his temple. Lightnings, sounds, thunders, an earthquake, and great hail followed.

¹¹Solomon brought up Pharaoh’s daughter out of David’s city to the house that he had built for her; for he said, “My wife shall not dwell in the house of David king of Israel, because the places where the LORD’s ark has come are holy.”
