Exodus 14:26

¹⁶Lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it. Then the children of Israel shall go into the middle of the sea on dry ground.

⁵The LORD said to Moses, “Tell Aaron, ‘Stretch out your hand with your rod over the rivers, over the streams, and over the pools, and cause frogs to come up on the land of Egypt.’”

¹³For judgment is without mercy to him who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

²⁷The men marveled, saying, “What kind of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”

⁶But Adoni-Bezek fled. They pursued him, caught him, and cut off his thumbs and his big toes. ⁷Adoni-Bezek said, “Seventy kings, having their thumbs and their big toes cut off, scavenged under my table. As I have done, so God ^[+] has done to me.” They brought him to Jerusalem, and he died there.

²²Pharaoh commanded all his people, saying, “You shall cast every son who is born into the river, and every daughter you shall save alive.”

¹⁹The LORD said to Moses, “Tell Aaron, ‘Take your rod, and stretch out your hand over the waters of Egypt, over their rivers, over their streams, and over their pools, and over all their ponds of water, that they may become blood. There will be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood and in vessels of stone.’”

²For with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you.

⁶For they poured out the blood of saints and prophets, and you have given them blood to drink. They deserve this.”
