Esther 9:10

¹¹In those letters, the king granted the Jews who were in every city to gather themselves together and to defend their lives—to destroy, to kill, and to cause to perish all the power of the people and province that would assault them, their little ones and women, and to plunder their possessions,

¹¹Haman recounted to them the glory of his riches, the multitude of his children, all the things in which the king had promoted him, and how he had advanced him above the princes and servants of the king.

²³that I will not take a thread nor a sandal strap nor anything that is yours, lest you should say, ‘I have made Abram rich.’

¹⁸He will be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world. ¹⁹He will have neither son nor grandson among his people, nor any remaining where he lived.

¹³“This is the portion of a wicked man with God, the heritage of oppressors, which they receive from the Almighty. ¹⁴If his children are multiplied, it is for the sword. His offspring will not be satisfied with bread. ¹⁵Those who remain of him will be buried in death. His widows will make no lamentation.

¹⁵The Jews who were in Susa gathered themselves together on the fourteenth day also of the month Adar, and killed three hundred men in Susa; but they didn’t lay their hand on the plunder.

¹⁶The other Jews who were in the king’s provinces gathered themselves together, defended their lives, had rest from their enemies, and killed seventy-five thousand of those who hated them; but they didn’t lay their hand on the plunder.

¹⁷Repay no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all men.

⁵you shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them, for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and on the fourth generation of those who hate me,

¹²Let there be no one to extend kindness to him, neither let there be anyone to have pity on his fatherless children. ¹³Let his posterity be cut off. In the generation following let their name be blotted out.

¹⁰You will destroy their descendants from the earth, their posterity from among the children of men.
