Ephesians 4:26

¹⁹So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger;

⁴Stand in awe, and don’t sin. Search your own heart on your bed, and be still. Selah.

⁸Cease from anger, and forsake wrath. Don’t fret; it leads only to evildoing.

³¹Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. ³²And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.

⁹Don’t be hasty in your spirit to be angry, for anger rests in the bosom of fools.

²⁹He who is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a quick temper displays folly.

¹¹The discretion of a man makes him slow to anger. It is his glory to overlook an offense.

¹⁹Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, “Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.” ²⁰Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.”

²¹Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

²²But I tell you that everyone who is angry with his brother without a cause ^[+] will be in danger of the judgment. Whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca!’ ^[+] will be in danger of the council. Whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of Gehenna.

²¹Moses said to Aaron, “What did these people do to you, that you have brought a great sin on them?”

²²Aaron said, “Don’t let the anger of my lord grow hot. You know the people, that they are set on evil.
