Ephesians 2:17

¹⁹I create the fruit of the lips: Peace, peace, to him who is far off and to him who is near,” says the LORD; “and I will heal them.” ²⁰But the wicked are like the troubled sea; for it can’t rest and its waters cast up mire and mud. ²¹“There is no peace”, says my God, “for the wicked.”

³⁶The word which he sent to the children of Israel, preaching good news of peace by Jesus Christ—he is Lord of all—

¹Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ;

³⁹For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are far off, even as many as the Lord our God will call to himself.”

⁷For what great nation is there that has a god so near to them as the LORD our God is whenever we call on him?

¹⁴He has lifted up the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints, even of the children of Israel, a people near to him. Praise the LORD!

¹³But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off are made near in the blood of Christ. ¹⁴For he is our peace, who made both one, and broke down the middle wall of separation,

¹⁰I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim and the horse from Jerusalem. The battle bow will be cut off; and he will speak peace to the nations. His dominion will be from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth.

⁷How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!”

¹⁹He shows his word to Jacob, his statutes and his ordinances to Israel. ²⁰He has not done this for just any nation. They don’t know his ordinances. Praise the LORD!
