Deuteronomy 30:3

¹⁴I will be found by you,” says the LORD, “and I will turn again your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places where I have driven you,” says the LORD. “I will bring you again to the place from where I caused you to be carried away captive.”

²⁴“‘“For I will take you from among the nations and gather you out of all the countries, and will bring you into your own land.

²The LORD^[+] builds up Jerusalem. He gathers together the outcasts of Israel.

³²For though he causes grief, yet he will have compassion according to the multitude of his loving kindnesses.

¹²As a shepherd seeks out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered abroad, so I will seek out my sheep. I will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day. ¹³I will bring them out from the peoples, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them into their own land. I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the watercourses, and in all the inhabited places of the country.

⁷The LORD of Armies says: “Behold, I will save my people from the east country and from the west country. ⁸I will bring them, and they will dwell within Jerusalem. They will be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.”

³⁷“Behold, I will gather them out of all the countries where I have driven them in my anger, and in my wrath, and in great indignation; and I will bring them again to this place. I will cause them to dwell safely. ³⁸Then they will be my people, and I will be their God. ³⁹I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear me forever, for their good and the good of their children after them. ⁴⁰I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from following them, to do them good. I will put my fear in their hearts, that they may not depart from me. ⁴¹Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.”

⁴²For the LORD says: “Just as I have brought all this great evil on this people, so I will bring on them all the good that I have promised them. ⁴³Fields will be bought in this land, about which you say, ‘It is desolate, without man or animal. It is given into the hand of the Chaldeans.’ ⁴⁴Men will buy fields for money, sign the deeds, seal them, and call witnesses, in the land of Benjamin, and in the places around Jerusalem, in the cities of Judah, in the cities of the hill country, in the cities of the lowland, and in the cities of the South; for I will cause their captivity to be reversed,” says the LORD.

³¹even so these also have now been disobedient, that by the mercy shown to you they may also obtain mercy.

¹⁰“Hear the LORD’s word, you nations, and declare it in the distant islands. Say, ‘He who scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd does his flock.’

²²It is because of the LORD’s loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his mercies don’t fail.
