Colossians 4:4

¹Therefore, seeing we have this ministry, even as we obtained mercy, we don’t faint. ²But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by the manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God. ³Even if our Good News is veiled, it is veiled in those who are dying, ⁴in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them.

²⁰for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

⁶Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.

⁴My speech and my preaching were not in persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, ⁵that your faith wouldn’t stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

¹⁴Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and reveals through us the sweet aroma of his knowledge in every place. ¹⁵For we are a sweet aroma of Christ to God in those who are saved and in those who perish: ¹⁶to the one a stench from death to death, to the other a sweet aroma from life to life. Who is sufficient for these things? ¹⁷For we are not as so many, peddling the word of God. But as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God, we speak in Christ.

²⁹But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men.

²⁶Therefore don’t be afraid of them, for there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. ²⁷What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in the ear, proclaim on the housetops.

²⁹Now, Lord, look at their threats, and grant to your servants to speak your word with all boldness,
