Amos 3:7

¹⁵No longer do I call you servants, for the servant doesn’t know what his lord does. But I have called you friends, for everything that I heard from my Father, I have made known to you.

¹⁷The LORD said, “Will I hide from Abraham what I do,

¹⁴The friendship of the LORD is with those who fear him. He will show them his covenant.

¹This is the Revelation of Jesus Christ,^[+] which God gave him to show to his servants the things which must happen soon, which he sent and made known by his angel^[+] to his servant, John,

²²He instructed me and talked with me, and said, “Daniel, I have now come to give you wisdom and understanding. ²³At the beginning of your petitions the commandment went out, and I have come to tell you, for you are greatly beloved. Therefore consider the matter and understand the vision.

²⁴“Seventy weeks are decreed on your people and on your holy city, to finish disobedience, to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy.

²⁵“Know therefore and discern that from the going out of the commandment to restore and build Jerusalem to the Anointed One,^[+] the prince, will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks. It will be built again, with street and moat, even in troubled times. ²⁶After the sixty-two weeks the Anointed One^[+] will be cut off, and will have nothing. The people of the prince who come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its end will be with a flood, and war will be even to the end. Desolations are determined. ²⁷He will make a firm covenant with many for one week. In the middle of the week he will cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease. On the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate; and even to the decreed full end, wrath will be poured out on the desolate.”

¹³God said to Noah, “I will bring an end to all flesh, for the earth is filled with violence through them. Behold, I will destroy them and the earth.

¹After these things I looked and saw a door opened in heaven; and the first voice that I heard, like a trumpet speaking with me, was one saying, “Come up here, and I will show you the things which must happen after this.”

²¹But I will tell you that which is inscribed in the writing of truth. There is no one who holds with me against these but Michael your prince.

^19[+] Write therefore the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will happen hereafter.

²²But if they had stood in my council, then they would have caused my people to hear my words, and would have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.
