Acts 9:19

²⁰but declared first to them of Damascus, at Jerusalem, and throughout all the country of Judea, and also to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, doing works worthy of repentance.

¹⁷nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me, but I went away into Arabia. Then I returned to Damascus.

¹²They gave him a piece of a cake of figs and two clusters of raisins. When he had eaten, his spirit came again to him; for he had eaten no bread, and drank no water for three days and three nights.

²⁶When he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. For a whole year they were gathered together with the assembly, and taught many people. The disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.

⁷Go your way—eat your bread with joy, and drink your wine with a merry heart; for God has already accepted your works.

³³While the day was coming on, Paul begged them all to take some food, saying, “Today is the fourteenth day that you wait and continue fasting, having taken nothing. ³⁴Therefore I beg you to take some food, for this is for your safety; for not a hair will perish from any of your heads.” ³⁵When he had said this and had taken bread, he gave thanks to God in the presence of all; then he broke it and began to eat. ³⁶Then they all cheered up, and they also took food.

¹⁰When they came there to the hill, behold, a band of prophets met him; and the Spirit of God came mightily on him, and he prophesied among them. ¹¹When all who knew him before saw that, behold, he prophesied with the prophets, then the people said to one another, “What is this that has come to the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?”

¹²One from the same place answered, “Who is their father?” Therefore it became a proverb, “Is Saul also among the prophets?”
