Acts 28:1

¹When we had escaped, then they^[+] learned that the island was called Malta.

¹And when they were escaped, then they knew that the island was called Melita.

¹Once we were safely ashore, we learned that the island was called Malta.

¹When we were safely ashore, we discovered that we were on the island of Malta.

²⁶But we must run aground on a certain island.”

⁴⁴and the rest should follow, some on planks and some on other things from the ship. So they all escaped safely to the land.

³⁹When it was day, they didn’t recognize the land, but they noticed a certain bay with a beach, and they decided to try to drive the ship onto it.

¹⁰When he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go out to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the Good News to them.
