Acts 2:32

¹⁵and killed the Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, to which we are witnesses.

⁸But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth.”

²²beginning from the baptism of John to the day that he was received up from us, of these one must become a witness with us of his resurrection.”

³³With great power, the apostles gave their testimony of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. Great grace was on them all.

⁴⁶He said to them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, ⁴⁷and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name to all the nations, beginning at Jerusalem. ⁴⁸You are witnesses of these things.

²⁴whom God raised up, having freed him from the agony of death, because it was not possible that he should be held by it.

²⁷You will also testify, because you have been with me from the beginning.

²⁶After eight days, again his disciples were inside and Thomas was with them. Jesus came, the doors being locked, and stood in the middle, and said, “Peace be to you.” ²⁷Then he said to Thomas, “Reach here your finger, and see my hands. Reach here your hand, and put it into my side. Don’t be unbelieving, but believing.”

²⁸Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!”

²⁹Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen me,^[+] you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.”

³⁰Therefore Jesus did many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book; ³¹but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name.

³⁹We are witnesses of everything he did both in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem; whom they also^[+] hanging him on a tree. ⁴⁰God raised him up the third day and gave him to be revealed, ⁴¹not to all the people, but to witnesses who were chosen before by God, to us, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.

³¹God exalted him with his right hand to be a Prince and a Savior, to give repentance to Israel, and remission of sins. ³²We are his witnesses of these things; and so also is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.”
