Acts 10:26

¹⁰I fell down before his feet to worship him. He said to me, “Look! Don’t do it! I am a fellow bondservant with you and with your brothers who hold the testimony of Jesus. Worship God, for the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy.”

⁸Now I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. When I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who had shown me these things. ⁹He said to me, “You must not do that! I am a fellow bondservant with you and with your brothers, the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.”

¹⁴But when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of it, they tore their clothes and sprang into the multitude, crying out, ¹⁵“Men, why are you doing these things? We also are men of the same nature as you, and bring you good news, that you should turn from these vain things to the living God, who made the sky, the earth, the sea, and all that is in them;

¹⁰Then Jesus said to him, “Get behind me,^[+] Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and you shall serve him only.’”

⁸“I am the LORD. That is my name. I will not give my glory to another, nor my praise to engraved images.

¹³Yes, my hand has laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand has spread out the heavens. when I call to them, they stand up together.

⁸All who dwell on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been killed.

³Let no one deceive you in any way. For it will not be unless the rebellion ^[+] comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of destruction. ⁴He opposes and exalts himself against all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, setting himself up as God.
