3 John 1:11

¹⁶Wash yourselves. Make yourself clean. Put away the evil of your doings from before my eyes. Cease to do evil. ¹⁷Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Defend the fatherless. Plead for the widow.”

²⁷Depart from evil, and do good. Live securely forever.

¹Be therefore imitators of God, as beloved children.

¹¹Let him turn away from evil and do good. Let him seek peace and pursue it.

²⁰For everyone who does evil hates the light and doesn’t come to the light, lest his works would be exposed.

¹³Now who will harm you if you become imitators of that which is good?

¹⁴Depart from evil, and do good. Seek peace, and pursue it.

⁶Whoever remains in him doesn’t sin. Whoever sins hasn’t seen him and doesn’t know him.

⁷Little children, let no one lead you astray. He who does righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. ⁸He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed: that he might destroy the works of the devil. ⁹Whoever is born of God doesn’t commit sin, because his seed remains in him, and he can’t sin, because he is born of God.

¹⁰But you followed my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, steadfastness,

²⁹If you know that he is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness has been born of him.
