2 Thessalonians 2:12

³²who, knowing the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but also approve of those who practice them.

⁷because the mind of the flesh is hostile toward God, for it is not subject to God’s law, neither indeed can it be. ⁸Those who are in the flesh can’t please God.

¹⁶He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who disbelieves will be condemned.

⁸but to those who are self-seeking and don’t obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, will be wrath, indignation,

³They make the king glad with their wickedness, and the princes with their lies.

⁵The LORD examines the righteous, but his soul hates the wicked and him who loves violence.

⁹For God didn’t appoint us to wrath, but to the obtaining of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,

³⁶One who believes in the Son has eternal life, but one who disobeys^[+] the Son won’t see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.”

¹³receiving the wages of unrighteousness; people who count it pleasure to revel in the daytime, spots and defects, reveling in their deceit while they feast with you; ¹⁴having eyes full of adultery, and who can’t cease from sin, enticing unsettled souls, having a heart trained in greed, accursed children! ¹⁵Forsaking the right way, they went astray, having followed the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of wrongdoing;

⁴For there are certain men who crept in secretly, even those who were long ago written about for this condemnation: ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into indecency, and denying our only Master, God, and Lord, Jesus Christ.

⁵Now I desire to remind you, though you already know this, that the Lord, having saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who didn’t believe.
