2 Samuel 22:23

¹⁰²I have not turned away from your ordinances, for you have taught me.

³⁰I have chosen the way of truth. I have set your ordinances before me.

¹⁴You are my friends if you do whatever I command you.

⁸The LORD’s precepts are right, rejoicing the heart. The LORD’s commandment is pure, enlightening the eyes. ⁹The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever. The LORD’s ordinances are true, and righteous altogether.

¹Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the ordinances, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that you might do them in the land that you go over to possess; ²that you might fear the LORD your God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command you—you, your son, and your son’s son, all the days of your life; and that your days may be prolonged.

¹³With my lips, I have declared all the ordinances of your mouth.

⁶These words, which I command you today, shall be on your heart; ⁷and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up. ⁸You shall bind them for a sign on your hand, and they shall be for frontlets between your eyes. ⁹You shall write them on the door posts of your house and on your gates.

¹²It shall happen, because you listen to these ordinances and keep and do them, that the LORD your God will keep with you the covenant and the loving kindness which he swore to your fathers.

¹¹Beware lest you forget the LORD your God, in not keeping his commandments, his ordinances, and his statutes, which I command you today;

⁸⁶All of your commandments are faithful. They persecute me wrongfully. Help me!
