2 Chronicles 5:13

¹¹They sang to one another in praising and giving thanks to the LORD, “For he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever toward Israel.” All the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the LORD, because the foundation of the LORD’s house had been laid.

¹¹the voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voice of those who say, ‘Give thanks to the LORD of Armies, for the LORD is good, for his loving kindness endures forever;’ who bring thanksgiving into the LORD’s house. For I will cause the captivity of the land to be reversed as at the first,” says the LORD.

³All the children of Israel looked on, when the fire came down, and the LORD’s glory was on the house. They bowed themselves with their faces to the ground on the pavement, worshiped, and gave thanks to the LORD, saying, “For he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever!”

⁸Your watchmen lift up their voice. Together they sing; for they shall see eye to eye when the LORD returns to Zion.

⁸Now when he had taken the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each one having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. ⁹They sang a new song, saying, “You are worthy to take the book and to open its seals, for you were killed, and bought us for God with your blood out of every tribe, language, people, and nation, ¹⁰and made us kings and priests to our God; and we will reign on the earth.”

¹¹I looked, and I heard something like a voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders. The number of them was ten thousands of ten thousands, and thousands of thousands, ¹²saying with a loud voice, “Worthy is the Lamb who has been killed to receive the power, wealth, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, and blessing!”

¹³I heard every created thing which is in heaven, on the earth, under the earth, on the sea, and everything in them, saying, “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be the blessing, the honor, the glory, and the dominion, forever and ever! Amen!”

^14[+] The four living creatures said, “Amen!” Then the^[+] elders fell down and worshiped.

⁵For the LORD is good. His loving kindness endures forever, his faithfulness to all generations.

^1[+] Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever. ²Give thanks to the God of gods, for his loving kindness endures forever. ³Give thanks to the Lord of lords, for his loving kindness endures forever; ⁴to him who alone does great wonders, for his loving kindness endures forever; ⁵to him who by understanding made the heavens, for his loving kindness endures forever; ⁶to him who spread out the earth above the waters, for his loving kindness endures forever; ⁷to him who made the great lights, for his loving kindness endures forever; ⁸the sun to rule by day, for his loving kindness endures forever; ⁹the moon and stars to rule by night, for his loving kindness endures forever; ¹⁰to him who struck down the Egyptian firstborn, for his loving kindness endures forever; ¹¹and brought out Israel from among them, for his loving kindness endures forever; ¹²with a strong hand, and with an outstretched arm, for his loving kindness endures forever; ¹³to him who divided the Red Sea apart, for his loving kindness endures forever; ¹⁴and made Israel to pass through the middle of it, for his loving kindness endures forever; ¹⁵but overthrew Pharaoh and his army in the Red Sea, for his loving kindness endures forever; ¹⁶to him who led his people through the wilderness, for his loving kindness endures forever; ¹⁷to him who struck great kings, for his loving kindness endures forever; ¹⁸and killed mighty kings, for his loving kindness endures forever; ¹⁹Sihon king of the Amorites, for his loving kindness endures forever; ²⁰Og king of Bashan, for his loving kindness endures forever; ²¹and gave their land as an inheritance, for his loving kindness endures forever; ²²even a heritage to Israel his servant, for his loving kindness endures forever; ²³who remembered us in our low estate, for his loving kindness endures forever; ²⁴and has delivered us from our adversaries, for his loving kindness endures forever; ²⁵who gives food to every creature, for his loving kindness endures forever. ²⁶Oh give thanks to the God of heaven, for his loving kindness endures forever.

¹Oh come, let’s sing to the LORD. Let’s shout aloud to the rock of our salvation! ²Let’s come before his presence with thanksgiving. Let’s extol him with songs!

²¹When he had taken counsel with the people, he appointed those who were to sing to the LORD and give praise in holy array as they go out before the army, and say, “Give thanks to the LORD, for his loving kindness endures forever.”

²⁵The singers went before, the minstrels followed after, among the ladies playing with tambourines, ²⁶“Bless God in the congregations, even the Lord in the assembly of Israel!”
