1 Thessalonians 5:27

¹⁶When this letter has been read among you, cause it to be read also in the assembly of the Laodiceans, and that you also read the letter from Laodicea.

¹⁶The king said to him, “How many times do I have to adjure you that you speak to me nothing but the truth in the LORD’s name?”

¹⁵The king said to him, “How many times shall I adjure you that you speak to me nothing but the truth in the LORD’s name?”

²¹I command you in the sight of God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the chosen angels, that you observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing by partiality.

¹I command you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at his appearing and his Kingdom:

²³He laid his hands on him and commissioned him, as the LORD spoke by Moses.

³As I urged you when I was going into Macedonia, stay at Ephesus that you might command certain men not to teach a different doctrine,

⁶³But Jesus stayed silent. The high priest answered him, “I adjure you by the living God that you tell us whether you are the Christ, the Son of God.”

¹³But some of the itinerant Jews, exorcists, took on themselves to invoke over those who had the evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, “We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preaches.”

⁷Also command these things, that they may be without reproach.
