1 Kings 1:1

²⁷The time that he reigned over Israel was forty years; he reigned seven years in Hebron, and he reigned thirty-three years in Jerusalem. ²⁸He died at a good old age, full of days, riches, and honor; and Solomon his son reigned in his place.

¹After many days, when the LORD had given rest to Israel from their enemies all around, and Joshua was old and well advanced in years, ²Joshua called for all Israel, for their elders and for their heads, and for their judges and for their officers, and said to them, “I am old and well advanced in years.

¹Now David was old and full of days; and he made Solomon his son king over Israel.

¹⁰The days of our years are seventy, or even by reason of strength eighty years; yet their pride is but labor and sorrow, for it passes quickly, and we fly away.

⁴David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years.

¹¹Now Abraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in age. Sarah had passed the age of childbearing.

¹Abraham was old, and well advanced in age. The LORD had blessed Abraham in all things.

⁷But they had no child, because Elizabeth was barren, and they both were well advanced in years.
