1 Chronicles 16:25

⁷a very awesome God in the council of the holy ones, to be feared above all those who are around him?

⁷You, even you, are to be feared. Who can stand in your sight when you are angry?

⁶There is no one like you, LORD. You are great, and your name is great in might. ⁷Who shouldn’t fear you, King of the nations? For it belongs to you. Because among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their royal estate, there is no one like you. ⁸But they are together brutish and foolish, instructed by idols! It is just wood. ⁹There is silver beaten into plates, which is brought from Tarshish, and gold from Uphaz, the work of the engraver and of the hands of the goldsmith. Their clothing is blue and purple. They are all the work of skillful men. ¹⁰But the LORD is the true God. He is the living God, and an everlasting King. At his wrath, the earth trembles. The nations aren’t able to withstand his indignation.

³Tell God, “How awesome are your deeds! Through the greatness of your power, your enemies submit themselves to you. ⁴All the earth will worship you, and will sing to you; they will sing to your name.” Selah. ⁵Come, and see God’s deeds— awesome work on behalf of the children of men.

³They sang the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, “Great and marvelous are your works, Lord God, the Almighty! Righteous and true are your ways, you King of the nations. ⁴Who wouldn’t fear you, Lord, and glorify your name? For you only are holy. For all the nations will come and worship before you. For your righteous acts have been revealed.”

³LORD, what is man, that you care for him? Or the son of man, that you think of him? ⁴Man is like a breath. His days are like a shadow that passes away. ⁵Part your heavens, LORD, and come down. Touch the mountains, and they will smoke. ⁶Throw out lightning, and scatter them. Send out your arrows, and rout them.

¹¹Who is like you, LORD, among the gods? Who is like you, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?

¹²Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and marked off the sky with his span, and calculated the dust of the earth in a measuring basket, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance? ¹³Who has directed the LORD’s Spirit, or has taught him as his counselor? ¹⁴Who did he take counsel with, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of justice, and taught him knowledge, and showed him the way of understanding? ¹⁵Behold, the nations are like a drop in a bucket, and are regarded as a speck of dust on a balance. Behold, he lifts up the islands like a very little thing. ¹⁶Lebanon is not sufficient to burn, nor its animals sufficient for a burnt offering. ¹⁷All the nations are like nothing before him. They are regarded by him as less than nothing, and vanity.

²²Don’t you fear me?’ says the LORD; ‘Won’t you tremble at my presence, who have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it can’t pass it? Though its waves toss themselves, yet they can’t prevail. Though they roar, they still can’t pass over it.’
